GMP Cleaning Technician

OBJECTIVE

The objective of the GMP Cleaning Technician is to ensure that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed and that all cleaning, disinfecting and documentation expectations adhere to the customer’s Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation practices (GDP), all training requirements are maintained at a status of “current” and that all customer requests for special tasks are accomplished.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• The ability to read and understand all revisions of applicable Customer assigned SOPs, policies and procedures.
• The ability to work flexible hours including holidays, weekends, overtime and special assignments
• The ability to lift 40lbs, work overhead and stand for extended periods.
• Complete all training requirements for specific work areas.
• The ability to write English with good handwriting techniques and limited errors.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous Aseptic cleaning experience.
• Familiarity in pharmaceuticals, bio-research, semiconductor, medical device manufacturing cleanroom facilities.
• High School/GED preferred.
• Higher education preferred in consideration for advancement.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

• Cleaning technicians must understand and be able to mix chemicals properly and understand the dwell time for all chemicals.
• Apply chemicals to floors, ceilings, walls, fixtures in conjunction with the proper cleaning equipment such as Mops, cloths, sponges, etc.
• Sweep and mop tile floors.
• Vacuum mats inside and outside
• Dust horizontal surfaces.
• Empty trash cans.
• Clean glass doors and windows.
• Wipe clean all ledges, sills, and doors.
• Comply with the training requests to stay up to date.
• Be able to accurately make handwritten entries in facility log books

ESSENTIAL SAFETY

• Safety is of utmost importance: Hot Water for Injection (HWFI) and Water for Injection (WFI) are extremely hot lines raised to steam levels each night. Aseptic Cleaners must use caution and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety shoes, safety glasses, breathing masks, rubber gloves around electrical equipment and proper clothing for the specific area in addition to cleanroom gowning.
• Vacuum cleaners and mop buckets are extremely heavy when full, so the use of proper lifting techniques for emptying must be followed.
• Walking surfaces may be wet, so caution and situational awareness must be used at all times.
• Work safely and notify your manager of potential safety hazards and near misses.
• Perform injury report investigations and near misses for your department. Meet with the Customer’s safety representative as required. Notify your manager of potential safety hazards and near misses.

OTHER JOB DUTIES

• Buff, completely strip, machine scrub and (or) refinish tile floors.
• Vacuum rugs and carpet.
• Shampoo carpeted areas.
• Keep Janitor’s closet clean and neat.
• Become cross-trained as requested.
• Ensure that all training deviation corrections are followed.
• Ensure that you are following the dress code according to policy.
• Review Deviations and work with Manager or Compliance management to investigate.
• Review all GMP documentation for entry errors and initiate correction process immediately to ensure corrections are made no later than 24 hours after the entry.
• Participate in GMP documentation error improvements.
• Follow all Customers’ policies.
• Log-in and log-out for work hours.
• Take breaks and lunch in the appropriate area. Check in and out for lunch.
• Any other duties as requested by the company.

OBJECTIVE

Ensure all training requirements for self and direct reports are maintained at a status of “current” and that all customer requests for special tasks are accomplished.

• The ability to become qualified as a “train the trainer” on customers SOPs for area of responsibility and site wide as appropriate.
• The ability to work flexible hours including holidays, weekends, overtime, be on-call and available for special assignments.
• The ability to lift 40lbs, work overhead and stand for extended periods.
• Complete all training requirements for specific work areas.
• The ability to write English with good handwriting techniques and limited errors.
• High School/GED required

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

• Perform initial hands-on OJT training to ensure Aseptic Cleaning Technicians have the ability to:
a. Understand and be able to mix chemicals properly and understand the dwell time for all chemicals.
b. Apply chemicals to floors, ceilings, walls, fixtures in conjunction with the proper cleaning equipment such as Mops, cloths, sponges, etc.
c. Sweep and mop tile floors.
d. Vacuum mats inside and outside.

• Provide clarification to any SOP as necessary upon request.
• Make suggestions to your manager if revisions need to be made to the SOPs.

GMP Cleaning Compliance Supervisor

OBJECTIVE:

The objective of the Compliance Supervisor is to ensure that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are properly taught and followed, and review good documentation.  Ensure that all cleaning, disinfecting and documentation is performed to expectations and adhere to the customer’s Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation practices (GDP).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • The ability to read and understand all revisions of applicable Customer assigned SOPs, policies and procedures. Computer literacy: The ability to compile and enter data on MS Excel spreadsheets on IPad / tablet or workstation.
  • The ability to become qualified as a “train the trainer” on customer’s SOPs for area of responsibility and site wide as appropriate.
  • The ability to work flexible hours including holidays, weekends, overtime, be on-call and available for special assignments.
  • Complete all training requirements for specific work areas.
  • The ability to write English with good handwriting techniques and limited errors.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

  • Ensure level of cleaning personnel is adequate for specific level of required clean.
  • Liaison with Client building managers on cleaning schedule to ensure optimal cleaning times.
  • Monitor time and attendance compliance employees clocking in / out for their shift and scheduled meal periods.
  • Work with the Compliance and Training manager to ensure training certification levels meet goals and staff is current on all applicable training for their assigned area.
  • Review all assigned documentation for entry errors and initiate correction process immediately to ensure all corrections are made in compliance to SOP.
  • Track entry errors by area and by type and compile data into MS excel spreadsheet to be utilized by management in Key Performance Indicator (KPI) presentations.
  • Perform hands-on inspections to ensure:
  1. Cleaning Technicians handwritten entries in facility log books are without error
  2. All dwell times are adhered to in accordance with SOP’s and are being accurately recorded in log book entries.
  3. Appropriate level of clean is being performed according to client’s SOP’s
  4. Ensure all chemical related documentation is accurate including lot numbers and expiration dates.
  5. Provide clarification to any SOP as necessary upon request.

GMP Cleaning Assistant Manager / Site Manager

OBJECTIVE:
The Assistant Manager / Site Manager has overall responsibility to ensure that all aseptic cleaning technicians, Leads and Compliance Supervisors are properly trained on and follow client’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with further responsibility to ensure that all cleaning, disinfecting and documentation expectations are met in accordance with company policy and contract specifications.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
The ability to read and understand all revisions of applicable Customer assigned SOPs, policy and procedure.• The ability to work flexible hours including holidays, weekends, overtime, be on-call and available for special assignments. Leadership competences, e.g. strong communication, team building and people development skills. The ability to write English with good handwriting techniques and limited errors.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology or equivalent education in a related field of study.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous Aseptic cleaning experience / supervisory experience. Familiarity in pharmaceuticals, bio-research, semiconductor, medical device manufacturing cleanroom facilities.

BASIC JOB FUNCTIONS:
Actively facilitate all required training and schedule cross training where needed.
Perform work site inspections and coaching by walking around.
Ensure staffing levels are met.
Call in back-ups as required and interface with other assistant managers or supervisors to meet daily cleaning demands.
Ensure that dress code is met according to company and customer policy.
Provide clarification to any SOP as necessary or requested by an associate.
Document coaching memos as required and assist associates when appropriate to re-train and coach as a result of a policy or procedure violation.
Notify the Customer’s safety manager of potential safety hazards.

Verify that timeclock entries are accurate.
Review all GMP documentation for accuracy daily during shift and before leaving.

Account and Business Development Manager (West Coast)

Position: This position reports to the company CEO / CFO and will have overall strategic and operational responsibility over existing accounts in multiple locations in California and other states. The main objective is to establish and promote goodwill with our existing customers and identify and grow business opportunities within assigned territory to ensure growth attainment.

Business Development: 70%

  • Travel nationwide and build strong relationships with key customers, vendors and stakeholders.
  • Prospect any potential new business opportunities with internal partners and network within the industry among providers and clients alike.
  • Maintain a solid sales pipeline and provide recommendation for marketing initiatives.
  • Attend client meetings and site walks to collect information to present to our estimator and assist in drafting of proposals.
  • Provide technical expertise and understanding on the qualifications surrounding GMP related cleaning, cleaning process and company certification and validation services.
  • Regularly meet with customer or support staff during the project startup phase to review timelines, project deliverables, etc, evaluate staffing levels and submit revised proposals accordingly.

Account Management 30%

  • Develop long-term relationships with assigned accounts; connecting with key business executives and stakeholders.
  • Regularly meet with customer or support staff during the project startup phase to review timelines, project deliverables, etc.
  • Work with internal partners to generate and (or) maintain new site process documentation e.g. Cleaning SOP’s, and any site specific documentation requirements.
  • Assist internal partners with talent recruitment for new and existing accounts. Place job advertisement and oversee interview and onboarding process.
  • Identify leadership talent within existing team and oversee the professional development of Area Account Managers and emerging talent.
  • Ensure operational compliance with FDA, ISO, and any other applicable domestic and international regulations.
  • Provide technical assistance for investigations into GMP cleaning issues in support of the validation, deviations and excursions.
  • Forecast and track key account metrics.
  • Effectively communicate expectations and objectives to the Area Account Managers and supervisory team.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5 years of account management or other relevant leadership experience.
  • 5 years experience outside sales or inside sales within a similar industry.
  • Proven sales track record.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including C-level executives.
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to details.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
